Uncle Jeff’s “Heart Attacks on A Stick”
These are fun to make and fun to eat, especially if your sister-in -law has a problem with your nephews getting dirty, and ruining their Sunday church going clothes. Well, hello! What do you think is gonna happen at a cookout with me?
First, I’m going to give them all the soda they can drink- have fun on the ride home! Then, I’m going to let them run wild in the back yard, poking at the wasp nest in the tree. Next, I’m going to give them all their very own Super Soakers, but I’m replacing the water with Cool-Aid. Last but not least, I’m going to feed them these wonderfully sticky treats- hope they don’t wipe their greasy little hands on your fake Prada purse! HAHAHA! I’m an evil genius!
MFO: 1 Maybe. Unless you let Jeff in your house, then 8.
- Ingredients: 1 pkg. cocktail wieners. 1 lb. bacon- cut each strip into 1/3 pieces. brown sugar. toothpicks. broiler pan, or cookie sheet.
- Cooking Instructions: Wrap each cocktail wiener with 1/3 piece of bacon. Use the toothpick to keep bacon wrapped around wiener. Place your wieners on the broiler pan (why am I laughing so insanely right now?- oh, yeah. I'm still pretty juvenile) Sprinkle brown sugar over each piece. Place in oven until the bacon gets crispy, and the smell of brown sugar wafts through the room.
- Helpful Hints:: Typically, 1 lb. of regular bacon will be almost enough to wrap all but a few of the wieners- so don't sweat it.
- Disclaimer:: I'm not responsible for any of the information I gave you about my cookout activities. These were merely suggestions, and I wouldn't expect a grown man to actually do these things. Well, okay- I would actually do these things, but only after I finally stop laughing about wrapping my wiener in bacon.
