Easy Pizza Bagels
Dude, these are so easy to make, but really good! I’ve made these for buddies who were coming over to watch hockey, because, as we know, not everyone can find stuff to throw together to feed hungry friends. Soon, though, YOU will become the guy guy who winds up feeding everyone! When that happens, make THEM wash the dishes. After all, they’re the freeloading, beer drinking, chip snarfing, dirty shoes up on the coffee table group you just can’t ever seem to get rid of when your lady is feeling amorous. But they’re your friends, so feed ‘em right.
- Ingredients: 1 can tomato sauce- NOT paste.
1 Pkg shredded cheese-Mozzarella is the standard, but you can use other varieties, as well.
Bagels-duh!
Pizza seasoning- found in the spice aisle.
dash of salt.
dash of pepper
- Cooking Instructions: Cut bagels in half. Place them on a cookie sheet or baking stone. Mix tomato sauce with the spices. Spoon sauce onto each bagel half, and spread evenly. Cover all the saucy bagels with cheese. (They're only saucy because they're so hard up for companionship). Place cookie sheet in a 400 oven for 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly.
- Options: Of course, you can add sausage. Or pepperoni. Or any other ingredients you can think of. I've found that cut- up breakfast sausage links work well in a pinch
